Line Marketing Management Experience
Daniel Jay Morrison has held extensive line
marketing management (P&L) responsibility on the manufacturers side. His marketing career began at Procter &
Gamble, followed by an extensive range of responsibilities at Unilever. Prior to establishing his independent marketing
consultancy, he was Director of Marketing for a business unit with retail sales in excess
of $300 million.
In addition to management of national and
regional brands, Daniel Jay Morrison has fourteen years of experience focused solely on
New Products Development. His direct personal
efforts generated in excess of $1 billion in new retail sales. He had line responsibility for the development and
market introduction of twenty lines of new products as well as innumerable line and size
extensions. He developed and executed plans
for the successful turn-around of three major brands.
He has developed a proven process of evolutionary qualitative research,
which has been instrumental in the development and refinement of new products, addressing
problems in going businesses, and evaluating competitive threats and market opportunities.
Daniel Jay Morrison has in-depth experience in the generation of the all-important
Positioning Statement. He has also been
instrumental in the development of marketing organizations and staffing, personnel hiring
and evaluation, and project control.
He has worked extensively with
international firms, with projects ranging from consulting to new category task force
programs (Venezuela, Britain, Germany, France, Belgium, Canada, Japan, Ireland, and
Holland).
